So remember how I gave you guys a preview of my grad dress?

I lied. 

It was $150 and I realized that for that much money I could get three dresses to wear to three formal occasions that were coming up! So I *sniff sniff* took it back and bought some new dresses. I needed three dresses for three events: Senior banquet, graduation, and my graduation party.

Senior Banquet

So I couldn’t find the dress online, but here’s the info: It’s from Forever 21, it was $15, and it comes in black, purple, and teal.

So obviously I got mine in black. I LOVE the shoulder cutouts. It’s a maxi dress, by the way. They’re fabulous and I love the low neckline. Not because I want my girls to hang out or anything, but I’ve just always loved the way low necklines look. Don’t mind my derpy look in the picture. Next to me is my friend, Rissa. She’s wearing a pink/orange cutout dress from Urban Outfitters.

Graduation

The next one I couldn’t find online, but it’s from Francessca’s Collections. I don’t have a super professional photo because it’s not online and I don’t have me wearing it because graduation hasn’t happened yet, but here’s a picture of it being held up. It doesn’t do the dress justice.

I apologize for the poor quality. It’s really cute though, I promise. I love the shape of it and how it fits my curves. It was $30. When I do end up graduating and I wear it, I’ll post a picture.

Graduation Party 

And for a third time, I am disappointing.

I couldn’t find the dress online. However, it’s from Urban Outfitters and I think it was $79? I’m not 100% sure. It’s by Pins & Needles. Here’s a crappy quality picture for you all:

Totally head over heels for this dress. Love this design and everything about it. It’s floor length, which is great. I just want to wear this everyday. It’s so hard to save it for June 16.

Also, this has nothing to do with anything, but I would like to point out this dress and romper and let you guys know that I’m in love with them and if you want to just buy me random expensive stuff, go for it. <3

Because…………. I’M GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL!

Hehe. Anyway. I’ll be extremely busy, this week I’ve gotta finish up my makeup work, then I’ve got the banquet on Thursday and I plan to party it up on Friday for senior skip. Then next week is the senior lock-in and graduation. Then with the weekends I have a plethora of grad parties to attend. (Oh I’m so popular.) (Not really.) SO. I’ll try to update, but I make no promises. I went shopping with my friends last night and helped them pick out dresses for formal events coming up, so I’ll hopefully do a post about all of those!

Oh hey! So for District 13 I was thinking nuclear, which to me makes me think of lots of neon colors. I don’t have a step-by-step for this one, like I did for District 4- sorry guys! But I’ll try to explain it as best as I can!

So here’s me looking overly bright.

Here are my lips, which are the color “Impassioned” ($14.50) by MAC! I’m obsessed with this color, it looks great with everything.

Onto my eyes, which are the entire base of the look:

It took me absolutely forever to get a good picture of my eye makeup, and even in this one, it doesn’t do it justice.

• So I started by doing my usual highlight of my browbone with “Virgin” ($18, as a single) from the Naked Palette ($50) from Urban Decay.
• Then, I added the super bright yellow color, which is Makeup Forever Professional in “No 02”, ($20, single) all over the lid.
• Next, I added green into the crease. The green here is “Chronic” (which is no longer available, at least, in singles) from Urban Decay. I wish I could’ve used a brighter green, but I didn’t have one.
• Then I used a really dark violet purple on the corners and dipped a bit into the crease. I used the right (darker) color from Lancome’s Ombre Absolute Duo in “Violet Luxe”. (Which I can’t seem to find online… I’m not sure if it’s still available.)
• I did winged eyeliner, using gel liner. Sephora brand in “must have” ($10) which is black.
• You can’t really see it, for the lower eyeliner I did a combination of both black pencil liner which is from Beautique in black (#714000) ($1.99) and a bright metallic blue from Essence. ($1.99; Unnamed color)
• I curled my lashes and then used Too Faced’s “Lashgasm” ($21) mascara in my black.

My Harry Styles inspired look! For those of you who don’t know who he is, he’s a member of the group “One Direction.” (Reference) I’m a huge 1D fan and I’ll be doing a look for each of the boys. I’m going to be doing a lot more “inspired by” looks soon, so keep an eye out for those!

How I did my hair: Curled it with a wand the night before, then braid it into seven random braids, slept with that in, and combed it out in the morning.

Tank is from Kohl’s, sweater, shorts, and tights are from Urban Outfitters, and shoes are from Payless. (I got them like four years ago…)

Obsessed with my new lip color from MAC! It’s called “Impassioned” and it’s a fairly good dupe for “Party Parrot” although the tint on this picture kind of throws the true color off. I’ll swatch it out for y’all soon.

In regards to my Hunger Games tutorials, I promise I’m working on it! It’s just difficult because I’ve been crazy sick the past few weeks so I’m rarely putting on makeup or doing my hair. In fact, right now, it’s almost 4 in the afternoon and I’m still in PJs with my hair up and no makeup.

Weee MAC has good customer service! But I’m actually fangirling so hard that MAC tweeted at me even though it’s not a celebrity, but still… My fangirl heart cannot bear my favourite cosmetic company tweeting at me.

Hogwarts themed nails! Pinky is blue for Ravenclaw, middle is yellow for Hufflepuff, pointer is green for Slytherin, and thumb is red for Gryffindor. The ring finger is white with the Hogwarts crest on it. Sorry the picture’s kind of crappy! :(
